Hi,

the scope of the ruler section is to convert distances measured on a plot of the frequency - response of the mic.
Define the properties of the plot in the right most area.
Min - Fq: The lowest frequency of the plot (frequency of the left border of the grid)
Max - Fq: The highest frequency of the plot (frequency of the right border of the grid)
Delta(mm) the space between the min - fq and the max - fq of the plot (measured as distance).
Max Amp: The highest amplitude value of the plot (upper border of the grid)
Min Amp: The lowest amplitude value of  the plot (lower border of the grid)
Dalta (min): the space between max - amp and min - amp (measured as distance)
Having the basics set, you can use the 'Ruler to Connection' Section to convert the values
Measure the distance between the left border of the grid and and frequency you want to edit on the plot and enter the value into the FQ edit field.
Now measure the vertical offset of the frequency - trace from the 0 dB line on the grid (at the frequency of interest) and enter the value in the Amp field. Leave phase at zero.
Use Check to convert the values (they will show in the point to point connection section) and if the values make sense use the 'Add connection' button to add it to the trace.
